We have been beekeepers for over 25 years. Four years ago, we decided to make beeswax candles as we had a ready supply of beeswax. After a year of experimenting to find the correct wick for each size and type of candle, we were ready to offer our candles for sale.
Beeswax candles are virtually dripless and burn longer and cleaner than paraffin candles. Our candles will develop a white film, called bloom, which is a natural characteristic of beeswax. It can be removed with a soft cloth or by warming with a hair dryer.
Each of our solid candles is hand poured of 100% pure beeswax with no additives. Slight color variations are unavoidable.
