Burning Tips
|
- Never leave a burning candle unattended and always place the candle in a proper holder.
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" when burning. This will keep your candle from smoking while burning and help ensure the candle will burn with a nice even flame.
- Burn the candles in areas free from drafts. This will keep the tapers from dripping and help the other candles burn more evenly.
- Always burn the votives in a proper holder. Make sure the flame does not contact the glass, since this could cause the holder to break.
- Always burn the pillar candles for at least an hour to ensure the wax burns completely, but do not burn longer than the diameter of the candle (i.e. 3 hours for a 3" candle).
- Pure Beeswax candles may be more difficult to light, this is due to the high melting point of beeswax.
