Parents will now have access to all information related to fees for their children’s school in Dubai through the Tuition Information Sheet.
Introduced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Tuition Information Sheet is a one-page reference that includes all compulsory and optional fees that private schools in Dubai may charge during a school year.
The fact sheet was introduced earlier this year to coincide with the start of the school year for schools offering the Indian and Pakistani curricula.
The fact sheet is now available for all private schools in Dubai.
The document will list all approved fees and costs, such as transportation, extracurricular activities, school trips, and books, to name a few.
The tuition information sheet will also be included in the annual parent-school contract. Over 180 schools have been included in the new tuition factsheet rollout
Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), said: “The tuition information sheet will now be available every school year for all private schools in Dubai. The fact sheet not only provides parents with accurate and up-to-date information on any fees they may be required to pay, but it also allows parents and schools to better focus on children’s learning. We appreciate the support of school leaders in Dubai to make the tuition information sheet accessible to their parent communities. »
Earlier this year, the tuition information sheet was rolled out to 81,000 students in 35 schools in Dubai. Schools starting their school year in September 2022 will have access to the service from this week and parents will receive an SMS with the link to their school’s fact sheet.
The tuition information sheet will also be publicly available on the KHDA website (https://web.khda.gov.ae/en/Education-Directory/Schools) giving parents the ability to compare schools.
